For those that enjoy a bit of old town history, we have 6 heritage suites, and 2 heritage twin suites situated above a beautifully restored heritage building, that also houses a family friendly restaurant and bar. Plus we have 20 modern studio suites and 3 accessible studio suites, constructed in 2020/2021, on the site that was occupied by the original Commercial Hotel.

Our Twin Suites offer you more space to spread out and relax. Perfect for when you are travelling with family or friends.
Our Twin Suites come with 2 Luxury Queen beds but can be reconfigured with single beds if required upon request. All of our Heritage Suites are located on the 2nd floor so if you have a larger group you will all be close by.

Our ground floor suites are ready for those who want to get in and out of your rooms with ease. Your carpark is right outside your door so you can go from driving to relaxing in seconds.

Our top floor suites are perfect for those that would like to enjoy a bit more view and relax in their own little world.
Accessible suites
We have 3 ground floor suites available to accommodate wheel chairs or for those with mobility problems, these rooms have walk in showers (with no step) that will easily accommodate a wheelchair.
Family suites
Our family suites are set up for relaxing after a day of fun in whakatane. On the ground floor and with a carpark right outside your door so you can go from family fun to home and bed in minutes.

Restaurant & Bar
The Comm Bar and Restaurant is alongside The Com Plex, the only of its kind in Whakatane, and is an excellent dining choice.
The Comm is open for Breakfast from 8am on the weekend and 10am weekdays, Lunch and Dinner everyday. Not only is it home to Good George craft beers and ciders, it also serves the beautiful Santos Coffee all day long.
The Comm also has a Takeaway option for your convenience.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
All rooms are serviced in the mornings on a daily basis; if you require an afternoon service please contact reception to arrange a time. Additional towels and selected toiletries are available. For all housekeeping needs please contact reception.
